About Ligera Koa 5mm w/pad

5mm w/pad Ligera Koa Waterproof Rigid Vinyl Plank Flooring 5.9 in. Wide x 48 in. Long

Lifetime Warranty

Koa has developed a distinguished history on account of its rich colors and distinct graining. Our Ligera Koa brings the unique look of this storied species into your home—with all the performance advantages that high-quality vinyl flooring has to offer and a price point that’s more manageable than its solid hardwood counterpart. This floor’s invigorating medium-brown hue and superbly satisfying pattern work well with all manner of biophilic and organic-modern design schemes, but still offer enough flexibility to coordinate with whatever alternative décor directions you want to explore for your home.

DIY-ers will love how simple our click installation makes it to lay these planks. Vinyl flooring should be installed over a clean, stable, flat, smooth, and dry surface. We recommend laying it over approved underlayment and a moisture barrier for even better sound and thermal properties. It's safe to lay these planks over radiant heat, as long as they do not come into direct contact with the heat source. Vinyl flooring is easy to maintain and clean, making it a worry-free choice if you have kids and pets. We suggest Bellawood Floor Cleaner to keep your floors looking their best; with regular maintenance, they’ll stay beautiful for the duration of their lifetime.

Underlayment
QuietWalk MaxQuietWalk Versa  underlayments are recommended for use under Vinyl flooring. These quality underlayments helps smooth out minor subfloor imperfections, provide moisture protection over wood subfloors and have added insulation and sound control properties.

For installations over concrete QuietBoard underlayment is also recommended but have moisture limits and will require an 6 mil polyethylene moisture barrier.

The Eco Silencer Max is a substitute for a 6 mil poly.

This floor is waterproof, however, moisture intrusions from concrete via hydrostatic pressure, flooding, or plumbing leaks, along with high levels of alkalinity, can affect floor coverings over time.

Moisture can also be trapped below the flooring and create mildew or mold.
