The luscious cinnamons and deep umbers of this Brazilian chestnut hardwood lend luxurious charm and natural warmth to your interiors. These engineered hardwood planks provide all the appeal of solid hardwoods on the surface, with wide planks that offer a casual air of comfort.
Beneath the beautiful veneer, layers of lumber are fused together cross-grained against one another. This cross-graining gives these planks better dimensional stability and strength. With a premium finish, these floors withstand everyday scratches and scuffs.
While some experienced DIYers might tackle this installation on their own, professional installation using nail, glue, or a combination of the two for this tongue and groove product. Mix up the planks before installation to showcase the natural variation and beauty of the hardwood. We recommend laying it with an approved underlayment over a wood subfloor for sound reduction and overall improved installation quality. And for a concrete subfloor, use a premium moisture mitigating adhesive. Post-installation, maintaining your floor will involve a simple regimen of sweeping or vacuuming and semi-annual or annual deep cleaning and spot-checking. With regular maintenance, your new floors will stay beautiful and last for many decades to come.
