About Summer Harvest Hickory Distressed Solid Hardwood

3/4 in. Summer Harvest Hickory Solid Hardwood Flooring 4 in. Wide · 50 Year Warranty

This flooring is designed to resemble those found in early Colonial American homes. Its distressed texture gives it the look of hand-crafted workmanship, while the natural knots give the flooring its unique character. The beautiful planks will enhance the style in any room.

Hickory is known for its strength. Additionally, its hardness gives it a superior scratch resistance that makes it well suited to busy living spaces.

This flooring is suitable for installation on your ground floor or above. While some experienced DIYers might tackle this installation on their own, professional installation using nails or glue is recommended for solid hardwood floors. Mix up the planks from multiple boxes before installation to showcase the natural variation and beauty of the hardwood. Over a wood subfloor, we recommend laying it over approved underlayment for improved sound and thermal properties. When laying over concrete, use a premium moisture mitigating adhesive. Post-installation, maintaining your floor will involve a simple regimen of sweeping or vacuuming (with no beater bar or harsh bristles) and using Bellawood Cleaning Solution and accessories for regular deep and spot-checking. Well maintained, your new floors will stay beautiful and last for many decades to come.

Remember that lighting makes all the difference! Your flooring, as a result, may look different in your home than it does online. Be sure to order free samples, then try them in your home at different points throughout the day to ensure you like the look!
