Bellawood Artisan's East Hampton Oak is finished with Bellawood's premium finish, with warm tones of rich brown, streaked with an artful mosaic of darker grain patterns. The boards are crafted to stunning dimensions over eight inches in width. This floor uses premium Red Oak of 'Natural Grade,' maintaining the appearance you would expect from a hardwood floor, such as knots, shallow-back, and small splits that create its desireable natural personality. This also results in varying board lengths, further capturing the rustic style. Wire brushing of the surface removes the softer top grain features, showcasing the robust details of the more durable heartwood, which gives the luxurious look and feel of re-claimed wood that has weathered the tests of time.
To keep your hardwood flooring looking beautiful, we recommend that you maintain and clean them with Bellawood Floor Cleaner. This flooring is made to last for generations and is backed by a 100-year limited transferable residential warranty.
This flooring is suitable for installation on your ground floor or above. While some experienced DIYers might tackle the required nail or glue installation on their own, we recommend professional installation for solid hardwood flooring. Either way, mix up the planks first to ensure a natural distribution of color and grain patterns. We recommend laying this flooring over an approved underlayment and moisture barrier for enhanced installation quality. Once installed, your flooring will need regular sweeping or vacuuming and less-regular deep cleaning and spot-checking. With this simple maintenance, your oak flooring should give you many years of beautiful service.
Remember that lighting makes all the difference! Your flooring, as a result, may look different in your home than it does online. Be sure to order free samples, then try them in your home at different points throughout the day to ensure you like the look!
