SHELTERBOX: AN UPDATE FROM THE PHILIPPINES

LL Flooring donated to the relief efforts of ShelterBox USA in the Philippines.

The donation helped provide emergency supplies to those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013. ShelterBox USA delivers boxes of essential supplies including tents, blankets, tools kits, children’s activity kits and more to displaced families in the immediate aftermath of natural and other disasters.

ShelterBox CEO Alison Wallace provided an update on efforts in the Philippines: “We couldn’t have done this without the support of Lumber Liquidators. LL Flooring supports ShelterBox USA through the Lay It Forward program. Since 2010, LL Flooring has donated more than $150,000 to help the organization sustain its mission to support 50,000 families annually.
