Critical illness can occur without warning, leaving families feeling vulnerable and helpless. The Palmetto Palace believes no family should ever feel alone in a time of need, especially during unexpected medical emergencies. From lodging near local hospitals & transportation options, to care kits including personal items that may have been forgotten, this South Carolina group offers a variety of assistance services for those in this time of need. To assist with a bedroom update, LL Flooring made a flooring donation to The Palmetto Palace.

Adaptive Homes CDC in Westerville, OH provides transitional housing to disabled veterans and their families. The goal is to provide these veterans with an avenue to independent living to become the healthiest generation of war time veterans in our history.
Along with AHV Construction & more community partners, Adaptive Homes renovated a home for Mike, a retired Marine, and his wife Kelsey. LL Flooring provided flooring for the project. Learn more about Mike’s story & how you can get involved with this organization at the Adaptive Homes website!

The Forestville Teen Clinic is a part of West County Health Centers in California. From educational services to mental health counseling, this center offers a variety of resources for teens & young adults. Flooring was provided to the clinic this month.

Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in the surrounding areas. Since 1983 this chapter has granted over 14,000 wishes with the goal of enriching the human experience with hope, strength & joy! LL was honored to provide new flooring for a wish this month.

Special Spaces creates dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening medical illnesses. This organization sees a bedroom as a place for a child to dream or imagine and also find peace and comfort. Special Spaces was founded in 2004 on the idea that children battling life-threatening illnesses need their own special space. LL Flooring was happy to provide our flooring for a bedroom makeover in New Jersey!

*Teen Challenge New England & New Jersey was one of the first in the U.S. This group’s recovery programs help provide youth, adults and families with an effective solution to drug, alcohol and other life-controlling problems.

For families in need, Habitat for Humanity Fredericksburg works to provide simple, decent, safe housing with the goal of eliminating poverty housing and homelessness in the area. Flooring was provided for a housing project early this year.
