NO BARRIERS USA SUMMIT 2015
LL Flooring extended its long-term partnership with No Barriers USA as a sponsor of the organization’s 2015 Summit this year. The four-day event – which ended July 12 in Park City, Utah – brings people together through activities designed to intellectually, emotionally and physically challenge attendees with various disabilities. Scientists, inventors, academics and practitioners facilitate enriching activities at the Summit, including hands-on clinics, outdoor excursions, films, art, music, leadership exercises and more.

LL Flooring has been a major sponsor of the No Barriers Summit since the inaugural event in 2007.
The Company’s roots with No Barriers USA reach to 2001, when LL Founder Tom Sullivan was inspired by Erik Weihenmayer – the first blind climber to scale Mount Everest. Weihenmayer co-founded No Barriers USA in 2005 to inspire disabled individuals to live fuller lives.
Sullivan commented, “From the moment I met Erik, I was inspired by his message of reaching for the highest goals and not letting anything stand in your way while pursuing them. I am proud of the support Lumber Liquidators’ has provided No Barriers USA over the years and how we have embodied its ideals in all that we do.”
