MICHAEL BRIGGS COMMUNITY CENTER
LL Flooring recently donated 766 square feet of vinyl wood plank flooring to the Manchester Police Athletic League’s (MPAL) renovated Michael Briggs Community Center in Manchester, N.H.
MPAL provides a safe space and a constructive alternative for local inner-city youth.
The organization brings police officers and local kids together
through athletic, academic and recreational opportunities to build champions in and outside of the gym.
The Company also partnered with a local organization, Building on Hope, who orchestrated the $1.5 million dollar renovation. Building on Hope is a community organization made up of local businessmen and woman who give back to their respective communities. Building on Hope coordinated many vendors to complete the construction projects; including the installation of flooring in the community center.
MPAL’s current Executive Director Lt. Brian N. O’Keefe, a twenty year veteran of the Manchester, NH Police Department and inaugural PAL Coordinator stated the following;
“The entire experience has been overwhelming because our facility was tired and worn, yet businesses such as Lumber Liquidators made it new and beautiful again. A simple ask turned into the donation of almost 770 square feet of flooring. I cannot thank Lumber Liquidators enough for their generous donation.”
