WALK FOR WISHES 2016 | MAKE-A-WISH® GREATER VA

In May 2016 LL Flooring supported Make-a-Wish Greater VA in the Greater Richmond Walk For Wishes®.

This community fundraising event occurs annually with thousands of participants around the United States. Walk For Wishes is a fun day dedicated to celebrating the special wish children of the community. The 38-minute walk helped to spread awareness – a wish is granted through Make-A-Wish® every 38 minutes!

Together with sponsors and teams the event recruited 630 walkers and raised over $144,000 to help grant the wishes of local children.

LL Flooring's Lay it Forward giving program.

Make-A-Wish® serves a unique and vital role in helping strengthen and empower children battling life-threatening medical conditions. This nonprofit has been granting wishes in the area since August 1987. Through fundraising and donor support the Greater Virginia Chapter has granted more than 4,500 wishes!
