CoreLuxe vinyl plank flooring features an advanced multilayer design that provides waterproof protection and strong resistance to scratches and dents. You'll find a wide selection at LL Flooring.

CoreLuxe Vinyl Plank Flooring for Every Room in Your Home

Now every room in your home can have beautiful floors featuring rich, natural colors and textures with CoreLuxe vinyl planks. Using innovative construction techniques and top-quality materials, these planks combine high performance with authentic wood and stone looks. You'll enjoy waterproof protection and extreme dent resistance that will help keep your floors looking their best for years to come. What is CoreLuxe Vinyl Flooring?

CoreLuxe is multi-layered vinyl flooring product that's lightweight, easy to install, and available in realistic wood and stone looks to suit any budget and any level of your home.

Its top layer, the “wear layer”, is an invisible protective coating that helps guard against scratches and scuffs. It helps your floor maintain its beauty in the face of dangers like rough-housing kids or excitable pets. Directly beneath the wear layer is the décor layer, which is where you'll find those authentic-looking wood or stone designs. Below the décor layer lies the floor's core, typically a composite of polymers and wood or stone, which provides exceptional resistance to denting along with improved stability and firmness. Finally, many vinyl flooring options also include a pre-attached padded layer on the bottom, which helps boost the thermal and sound insulation properties.

Direct print vinyl is CoreLuxe's more advanced offering. In addition to possessing a stone-polymer composite (SPC) core, which gives this flooring exceptional resistance to dents and damage, it can offer even more impressive looks thanks to direct-printing technology. Instead of using a décor layer, direct print vinyl floors have their designs imprinted straight on their cores, providing a crisper (and more authentic) look without sacrificing any performance.

What Makes CoreLuxe Vinyl Planks So Special?

With their advanced construction and features, CoreLuxe vinyl planks give you a range of options for any room in your home, including attics, bathrooms, basements, and laundry rooms.

Is CoreLuxe Flooring Waterproof?

Whatever CoreLuxe RVP you choose, you'll enjoy waterproof protection from household spills and splashes. That gives you new possibilities for gorgeous floors with authentic wood looks in bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements, where the idea of hardwood flooring style once seemed unthinkable.

Improved Stability for a Firmer Feel Underfoot

In addition to exceptional dent resistance, the composite core of CoreLuxe RVP also gives your flooring greater stability and firmness underfoot. This makes walking on them a more pleasant experience, with a more substantial feel that inspires greater confidence and assurance.

Easy to Install

As beautiful as it looks and as well as it performs, the ease of installation is what we may love most about it. With proper preparation, even beginning do-it-yourselfers can install CoreLuxe vinyl flooring using any of a range of methods, including:

Click-float

Click the plank ends together to join them. When you're done, the plank “floats” above your subfloor. The wonderful thing about a click-float install is that, once you're finished, the floor is ready for use right away. There's no need to wait for the glue to dry.

Glue-down

Apply an approved adhesive to the subfloor, set the plank in place and repeat This installation method can be more involved and complicated, and is often reserved for commercial projects. If you're not confident in your ability, LL Flooring can connect you to our network of independent qualified professionals who can get the job done.

Peel-and-stick

Some vinyl flooring comes with an adhesive already applied; you only need to peel off the covering and stick the plank into place. While this is a less expensive option, the adhesive won't make as firm a hold as glue-down options.

Install CoreLuxe Vinyl Planks Anywhere in the Home

CoreLuxe can give any room in your home, whether bedroom, kitchen, or bathroom, a fresh and alluring style. Consider the possibilities:

Bedroom

The natural honeys, cinnamon, and greys of oak, pine, ash, and other woods provide the inspiration for the wood looks CoreLuxe offers. You can enjoy the authentic appeal of natural flooring, but with easy installation and maintenance (and budget-friendly price point).

Kitchen

Give your kitchen the cool greys and whites of a stone look, or the rustic warmth of a wood effect. You could even tie your interior design together with a vinyl backsplash to match your flooring, for further splash protection as well as style.

Bathroom

Waterproof vinyl flooring makes it possible to combine the beauty of a wood or stone look with the practicality of modern flooring. Bath time is even more relaxing when you don't have to rush to clean up any splashes. RVP is great f sunrooms. If you choose LVP, the glue-down option is the best installation method to avoid issues with buckling under the heat of the sun.

Installation and Maintenance Need-to-Knows

Once you've picked out the CoreLuxe vinyl plank that's perfect for your home, you want to be sure you get the most out of your purchase. This means you need to properly prepare before installation, and you need to care for your floors once they're installed.

Prior to Installation

Once your CoreLuxe vinyl flooring arrives at your home, you first should let your planks acclimate to your home's environment. Planking with natural core components will expand or contract in response to changes in temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors.

If your floor's core expands after you've installed it, your planks may buckle or warp, so it's important to acclimate your planks before installation. LVP planking should be allowed to acclimate for at least 48 hours, while RVP and direct print vinyl should acclimate for 24 hours.

While your planks acclimate, ensure your subfloor is clean, dry, and flat. Otherwise, debris, moisture, and unevenness can undermine your installation.

After Installation

After your flooring is installed, maintenance is a breeze. Simply sweep with a soft-bristled broom regularly, and wet mop once a month or so to clean off any stains or smudges. Simply use an approved cleaning agent—such as Bellawood Floor Cleaner—free from oil, wax, or polish, as these will often leave a film on your flooring that dulls its shine and vitality.
